|尺寸:||13cm X 11cm|
This strap handled jars was found in Mississippi County Arkansas (USA). These jars were used for cooking by ancient Native Americans and this 6-noded jar features nice fire marks. The Mississippians used clay made of Mississippi river mud and ground up freshwater shells. This distinctive shell tempering made their hand-formed ceramics solid and very good for cooking. Jars like this are unusual to find intact but this one is in good condition and has only some repaired probe hole repairs on the bottom and one stable pressure crack. See the pictures to draw your own conclusion.
