This is a complete refit of a Tullio Abbate Sea Star Super 25. This sports boat was restored, modernised and upgraded in the most elaborate way. This was not just a small superficial facelift - everything was professionally restored/renewed, and improved. There is no second Abbate copy in this world in this condition and with this equipment! Since its launch on July 19, 2016, the boat is on a specially made boat lift, covered with a full cover, protected from any weather influences or environmental impact. The boat is exclusively in the water, as long as it’s being used. Since its launch, the boat was only used in fresh water, and it has only a few operating hours (approx. 35 hours). The boat is also very economical, the average fuel consumption, depending on driving style, is well below 20 litres/hour. Even though this description is very detailed, it can only hint what you can expect from this boat. It was completely dismantled, even the upper and the lower shell were separated and subsequently glued and riveted together to the highest standards. No part was left unrestored, absolutely everything was refurbished or renewed, and numerous customised and improved parts were manufactured in the highest marine quality. The hull and the deck were completely refurbished and finished with a sporty, ultra glossy 2K polyester-polyurethane yacht varnish: AWLCRAFT 2000 "Haze Gray". The V8 engine is brand new (warranty until March 2018), as are the water pump, the starter, the alternator, the power steering and other add-on components. An Edelbrock intake mainfold as well as a 1405 Edelbrock carburettor have also been installed. With this configuration, the GM-350 V8 provides a power of 300 hp. An automatic fire extinguishing system as well as two additional portable design fire extinguishers provide further safety on board. The steering of the boat is controlled by a new Teleflex CH-1700 one-hand-unit and the hydraulic Teleflex power steering including Power Assyst - you only need one finger to manoeuvre the boat in any situation (you can even control the steering with one hand if the boat is fully loaded). The electrical system was completely renewed - three independent battery systems with intelligent charging control and automatic circuit breakers provide a sufficient amount of energy at any time - the complete shore power system (including Fi-protection) with intelligent battery charging of all batteries, galvanic isolation, and 3 board outlets for 200 V power leave nothing to be desired. An extra long stainless steel swimming ladder was installed underneath der swimming platform to ensure easy access to the water. The trailer is also perfectly adjusted to the boat - it has perfect support surfaces and a fully automatic belt system to lash the boat. The belt system is firmly connected to the frame of the trailer, and is simply hooked to the provided towing eyelets on the boat, and tightened. It holds the boat firmly, and the belts leave no traces on the varnish. You cannot have a more gentle and comfortable handling. The specially made full cover is also 100 % trailerable, even with a speed of 100 km/h. A current official valuation report from July 2016 states a value of €130,000 (for the boat, without equipment) and confirms the exceptional quality of the performed work, the used materials, and the finished boat. A German yacht insurance has covered the boat for €141,000 (for the boat including equipment and trailer). There are over 2500 photos and videos of the refit and a total of three folders with documents, certificates, instructions, and invoices. The berth and the boat lift are located in 63477 Maintal (Main river), Germany. In the off-season, the boat is stored in a dry, heated hangar.
