A Höhm model in perfect collector’s quality condition is up for auction here! The models from the Höhm company are the most elaborate driving school models, which were made by hand in Germany in the 1960s. The technical condition of these items are regularly checked. (Picture 22) Every smallest detail is made very well and of very high-quality materials (stainless steel, chrome, etc.) So the tank is labelled with ESSO. Everything on this model works. The transmission has several speeds (2 forward-1 reverse) by pressing the clutch the motor is separated from the gear so that you can switch. Like a real car. The piston moves when the model runs and the spark plugs light up in the rhythm of 2-4-1-3. (Pictures 15-21) The lights are also like a real car with sidelight, passing light, blinker. As the pictures show, these models have a very elaborate wiring harness with fuses etc. for the electric control. (Pictures 23-25) Please note that these models are technically so elaborate that always something has to be repaired if really everything should work. As with a real classic car which is over 50 years old! The wooden base size is 38 cm X 107 cm. The model can be picked up near Aachen at the German-Belgium-Dutch border.
