When her father Charles the Bold died in 1477, Mary became the most powerful and richest woman in Europe at the age of 19
Her nickname was Mary the Rich because she inherited a huge amount of money Many princes therefore wanted to marry her
She loved horseback riding a lot but her horse stumbled during a tour in 1482 and Mary broke her neck
She died a few days later at the young age of 25
The condition of the sculpture is good, with some small signs of age-related wear and use
