For the story:
La Rochere glassware, located in Passavant, in the Haute-Saône, was founded in 1475 by Simon de Thysac with the encouragement of the Dukes of Lorraine. It was installed in a place rich in materials needed for the manufacture of glass, such as sand, wood and fern.
