It would benefit from a restoration work
Interesting lacquered tile on spruce wood with plant motifs and a beautiful rose on the centre that makes it special, just because this is the school of Mantegna that made these works a fashion in Mantua, above all to decorate walls and ceilings of cultural meeting spots. Privately purchased, it comes from the city of the Gonzaga, 19th century. It shows scratches almost everywhere and small lacks of colour, it has been restored in the centre after a crack of the wood, then reinforced by two small slabs on the back. Size: height 71 cm, width 46 cm, weight 1.500 kg The item will be packaged with proper material to avoid damages and it will be sent with tracked shipping.
