For creating your own stereo slides on format 24 x 30, slightly wider than the Realist format.
The Belplasca was also widely used by the View-Master photographers who made the originals for the reels on regular 35 mm film. See the picture of the Belgian freelance photographer George Withaar with a borrowed Belplasca for making the images for the James Bond packet "Live and Let Die" (1973) ". Here with Bond girl Jane Seymour.
This one was originally owned by Klaas Zuidersma, well known in stereo world.
- the viewfinder is somewhat dirty (weathered), as is the case with most Belplascas.
- the depth of field control button works very heavily. Should be lubricated.
- at the time the shutter speeds (and the repetitions thereof) have been tested. See the notes on paper.
Very special of this lot is that it includes the box (unfortunately with some stickers on the lid) and the manual (with some writing here and there).
