DESCRIPTION Many coach builders tried to work on the Fiat 850 body, with good or bad luck, but Vignale (from Piedmont) was undoubtedly one of the most famous in creating special versions of Fiat cars. Also in this case it didn’t refuse the challenge, designing 3 body types: spider, coupe and 4-seater. All versions are characterized by only two doors, a feature that helped slimming down the proportions of the car. In the 4-seater version (normal or special) there is a high bonnet on the frontal part to house the spare wheel and maintain the necessary volume for the storage of cases. Lights and turn signals are placed to the ends of the front. The hood on the back is newly designed by adding horizontal slats, nice and functional to the engine cooling. A very rare and peculiar little sedan fitting a Vignale designed body on a 850 Special base. In excellent conditions. The body is nice and absolutely rust free. The bottom is sound, beautiful chrome, interior as new and impeccable mechanics. The car does not require any kind of work and it’s ready to be used immediately. Adorned with original number plates and registration booklet from the first equipment. It is sold with all the manuals of the time, including a hard-to-find assistance booklet by “carrozzeria Vignale”. The car is certified by ASI and will be delivered already serviced (in our workshop) with an inspection valid on national territory or documents for export abroad.
