Antique bangle made around 1900-1920. Jugendstil / Art Deco Period. An exceptionally wide bangle, fully set with antique Bohemian garnet. There are a total of 337 individual garnet gemstones, all set with prongs. Cut in antique pointed star cut. This cut sparkles with every movement. Wonderful deep dark red. Four rows run exactly parallel around the hoop. Each garnet is about 0.10 ct. with a diameter of 3 mm. Between the large garnets, three small ones are placed in the gaps, so that a closed dark red gemstone band totalling about 23 ct. runs all the way around. The bangle has a safety chain and a key lock, which locks very securely and flush. The garnets are set in tombac and the metal is gold-plated - as is usual for the period, and a guarantee of the authenticity of the antique piece of jewellery.
