This extraordinarily beautiful chess set has been artfully made by hand and completely made of olive wood. The white and black chess pieces are made of pewter and the very nice chess board is processed in olive wood. In particular the chessboard is nice and robust. The chess pieces can be stored in the drawers under the board.
The chessboard is a kind of table with drawers underneath. Both the chessboard and the chess pieces are in good condition. Note: the chess set is not complete, there are 1 white and 2 black pawns missing. These may be replaced by other pieces. Nice detail is that the bishops are depicted as elephants, and a Roman army is also depicted.
Size of the large chessboard: 44 cm x 44 cm x 7.5 cm. Height of the king is 5.2 cm and the total weight is 2.9 kg.
Will be well-packaged and shipped by registered mail.
