Beautiful, solid double mantel (savonette) 18 kt gold pocket watch with minute repeater.
The solid casing is made of 18 kt (0.755) and has a smooth design. On the back is the monogram CAB.
Smooth 18 kt dust cover.
Front spring lid.
The dial is made of white enamel and in very good condition. Roman numerals in black - very fine filigree original steel hands - gold-coloured. Second sub-dial at six o'clock.
Gold-coloured full plated manufactured movement with bolted chatons and bolted ruby bearing jewels. Typical manufacturing from Switzerland for the English market. (Movement signed SwissMade) striking hammer is blued. Strike on coil springs. Very beautiful, fresh and bright chime - pleasant sound.
The movement works - functional.
The hands are set by a crown and spike trigger on the casing.
Repeater is triggered with a casing slider underneath 7 o'clock. The hours are struck according to the time of day and the quarter-hours with a double strike (depending on the quarter) - afterwards, the minutes of the respective quarter are struck once.
In good overall condition. Watch diameter 53 mm with pendant 72 mm. Weight 120 g.
A beautiful gold pocket watch with quarter repeater in good condition with only minor signs of use.
