Spondylus regius is a type of bivalve mollusc, also known as a spiny or comb oyster (although it does not actually belong to the oyster family).
This collectible shell has a beautiful soft pink colour, with long and thick spines, moreover it has its particular perfectly preserved hinge, making the two parts move perfectly aligned.
