Authenticity, quality and rarity are guaranteed, some pieces are suitable for museums, they constitute an estimated total of less than 0,1% of all finds.
Burmite is the name of a type of amber that is found in an approx. 100 year-old Eocene deposit in Myanmar.
Burmite is known as the type of amber with the most inclusions, and there are more known variations of this amber than of all other deposits combined.
During the Cretaceous period, which was also the period when dinosaurs existed, first plant life stared to develop in the shape of blossoms, leaves and moss.
This honey-coloured cabochon of 1 x 1.3 cm contains a perfectly preserved, delicate snail shell, the piece is also suitable for jewellery and has plant structure inclusions.
The value of an inclusion stone mainly depends on its rarity, and in this case and with these insects, it is a ratio of 1: 25,000!
