From old Austrian family property: Official M 1927 sabre, 24 cm long back blade, etched, grooved on both sides, nickel-plated and etched with tendrils, war trophies, the imperial double eagle and the crowned initials "FJI" (still from the predecessor model M 1889).
Asymmetrical, open-work, floral decorated, gold-plated basket. The handle ring and the handle cap also loftily decorated. Wooden handle with fish skin and twisted, gold-plated wrap, black leathered steel sheath, raised, floral decorated. On the mouthpiece instead of the initials FJI a garland. Gold-plating slightly rubbed off, well preserved. Historically very interesting and rare piece.
