Silver gelatin print- Matt finish on double weight paper - Magnum Photos and Henri Cartier Bresson stamp
From a private collection, very rare vintage silver print with photographer's agency stamp and various handwritten notations in unidentified hands in pencil on the reverse. This photo was taken probably in Paris (this anotation appears in the back of the photo), in the photo can see Bar Acacias, and a store named Robes.
Henri Cartier-Bresson (August 22, 1908 – August 3, 2004) He pioneered the genere of street photography, and conceived of photography as capturing a decisive moment. Cofounder of Magnum photos.
This photo have the old Magnum photos and old Bresson stamp, compared with others with same stamp, we think that was printed in the later 40's or 50's.
Technique: Silver-gelatin print. Matt finish on double weight paper.
Size aprox.: 25.2 x 20.8 cm
Condition: very good condition with little yellowed paper.
