This clock works with the changing of the temperature. A coil set inside the cylinder situated on the back of the clock expands or compresses with the rise or fall in temperature, which allows the clock to function. The clock has 15 jewels, and is working and keeps good time. All the glass is intact. There are some signs of wear, but nothing noteworthy. It will shine again with a good polish. White dial - Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock - Polished brass arrowhead hour markers. To open it, on the bottom left there is a small knob which opens the front glass. To be able to function, the ball on the base must be centred in the disc. The clock must not be moved without first having moved the locking lever from left to right, under the dial. It is rare to find an old clock with such a low serial number that still works well. Tracked and insured shipping
